Climbing parties are one of our most popular activities. Everything is provided to ensure the children have an exciting, unusual and, above all, safe climbing party in The Castle.
Our party sessions are for children aged 9 and above. They run for one and a half hours, during which time everyone will be given an opportunity to climb and boulder under the careful supervision of an experienced instructor. There will be a maximum ratio of six children to one instructor at all times.
Prices are fully inclusive of equipment, entry into The Castle, and instruction.

Availability
The walls at The Castle Climbing Centre are exceptionally busy during weekday evenings and at weekends. Therefore, birthday parties can only be be held at the following times::
- 15.00-16.30 or 17.00-18.30 on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
- To finish by 16.30 on weekdays
Further information
Party food: Unfortunately the Castle Café is too small and busy (especially at weekends) to cater for parties. However, there is a café right next door in the West Reservoir Centre. They can be contacted on 020 8442 8116. There are also cafés nearby in Finsbury Park and Clissold Park.
The garden: When available, the garden can be used for small party groups. However, we need advance notice and the party leader must agree to follow The Castle garden’s conditions of use .
Parking: There is limited parking at The Castle Climbing Centre. If you do use the car park, please make sure that you give your vehicle’s registration number to reception upon arrival, to avoid getting a ticket. If The Castle’s car park is full, there is further parking available in the adjacent West Reservoir Centre, but PLEASE NOTE they close and lock their gates at 5pm on weekends.
Cancellations and Refunds: Geckos Climbing Ltd require all climbing sessions to be booked and paid for in advance. If a climbing session is cancelled more than seven days before the booking, we will refund the total amount, minus a £40.00 administration fee. Unfortunately cancellations and refunds are not possible after this time.
